Many of the MANIFESTA 10 Educational projects have been happening long before the official opening of the Biennial, and up until now a significant number of people have already participated. Six St. Petersburg universities have hosted the M10 Professional Dialogues with seminars led by both M10 team members and international specialists.
In twelve schools around the city, local artists held so-called ‘Art Laboratories’; interactive workshops with 250 pupils. Over 1,000 locals attended the MANIFESTA 10 Dialogues, which saw public discussions held with international curators, critics and artists.
Soon to come are eight workshops centred around people with disabilities, children living in orphanages, youth centres and elderly communities and we’re happy to announce that over 10,000 St. Petersburg school children have already booked their tickets to visit the Biennial!
