On October 28 MANIFESTA 10’s Education Program will hold its 12th Dialogue with the participation of curators Ekaterina Degot and Susanne Pfeffer. 

Ekaterina Degot (Russia) – is an art critic, curator and art historian, specialist in Russian art of XX-XXI centuries and a corresponding fellow of the Russian Academy of Arts. In 2001 – Degot was the curator of the Russian pavilion at the Venice Biennale. From 2008 to 2012 she was the chief editor of the art portal OpenSpace.ru, member of the Assembly in Bergen (2013). From March 2014 – she became the artistic director of the Cologne Academy of art (Akademie der kuenste der Welt). This post Ekaterina Degot will have for two years. She is also a visiting lecturer at the Russian, European and American universities. 

Susanne Pfeffer (Germany) - art historian and curator, since 2012 Pfeffer has been the artistic director of the Kunsthalle Fridericianum in Kassel, Pfeffer studied art history in Berlin and worked as an assistant curator in Kölnischer Kunstverein (Cologne). Later, she became an assistant to Udo Kittelmann in Museum of Modern Art, Frankfurt am Main. From 2004 to 2006, Pfeffer was the artistic director of Künstlerhaus (Bremen), and between 2007 and 2012, the curator of Kunst-Werke in Berlin. Susanne Pfeffer is also an advisor to PS1 Contemporary Art Center in New York. 

The Dialogue will be held in Russian and English, with simultaneous translation.
